Well, It’s been almost four months since I broke my back. Isn’t that strange? It seems like it happened a year ago…but then it seems like it happened only yesterday. I’m finally back in school and feeling more inspired than ever.
As much as I hate these photos, I feel like it is important to remember everything.

On the way back from Chicago “gonna make you sweat” by c&c music factor came on the radio. All four of us suddenly busted out in song and dance. The Bartley family is awesome.
What do you say to someone who just lost their mother? The best thing I could say was “…I like your shirt”

Today I threw a fit at the little clinic inside of kroger because they wouldn’t see me. I yelled and cried and acted really stupid in front of people.
Thirty minutes later I walked out with the medicine I needed and a sucker.

colette miles just passed away after a long fight against breast cancer. She beat the cancer once before but 5 years later it came back, stronger.
Married to the bartley’s lifelong friend, kevin miles. She was a sassy woman with a thick northern accent. She had two kids: one 14 year old girl and 10 year old boy. They are currently on the way home from school to get the bad news.
This sucks...
